My camera is my companion for both grand travels and mundane outings, capturing exposures of organic landscapes, distinctive architectural perspectives, celestial views, and serendipitous encounters with wildlife (especially birds). I pursue forms that transcend the limits of the human eye while preserving a natural impression. My photos often feature eye-leading compositions, defined focal points, shallow depth-of-field, long exposures, broad dynamic ranges, and artistic lens distortions (particularly fisheye effect). For my intermittent commissions of portrait photoshoots and studio headshots, I manipulate artificial & natural lighting, posing, perspective, and focal length to accentuate my subjects’ natural aesthetics and achieve desired character. I also enjoy informal food photography during my epicurean explorations.
