My malleable modus of graphic design reflects retro and pop-art styles—from art deco to psychedelia to Memphis Milano—with emphasis on clean, prominent textual elements, congruent accentuation with geometry & color, subtle dimensionality, integral application of negative space & gradients, subliminal symbolic motifs, and a whimsical gestalt. My commissioned works are stylistically diverse but often adopt a more traditional, subdued form.

Nucleic Acid Therapeutics journal cover (volume 34 , issue 4): A journal cover with the title "Nucleic Acid Therapeutics" in white sans-serif typeface superimposed over an oil painting–like minimalist illustration of two pastel-colored neuronal somata with interwoven neurites. The nuclei are visible as circles, containing thread-like aggregates of mRNA. In one neuronal soma, a target-bound RISC and di-siRNA molecule appear.

Scientific Illustrations

As both a graphic designer and a biomedical researcher, I appreciate the intersection of applied art and science, particularly molecular renderings and anatomical illustrations. During my undergraduate education at the College of Charleston, I occupied many offices within the Student Government Association, elected at large by a constituency of about ten-thousand students. My [in]famous election campaigns invariably surprised and entertained my classmates with both conventional campaign materials (like posters) and unconventional ones (like branded social media filters). Parodic Album Art
